If you are just starting to contemplate an exit from what you’ve been doing, I hope this gets your attention.
Six years ago, I became a Senior Advisor with Armstrong McGuire. Recently I was taking a walk and listening to a podcast where a researcher I admire was interviewed. The host asked her, after 13 years of research and 6 books, what have you learned? Every two years, since the early 2000s, the US Census Bureau, in partnership with AmeriCorps, releases a study tracking volunteerism in the US. One of the things I enjoy most about my profession is getting to observe and learn from people across the nonprofit sector. Because we are often privy to information shared by board and staff members that might not otherwise surface, our consultants get a front row seat to what is working and what isn’t. And let me tell you, there are some common threads regardless of the size, budget, or mission of an organization.
Whether you’re ready to expand your organizational capacity and move forward with purpose, or just want to talk shop, we’d love to connect.
