With two decades of research, technology,  and operations experience supporting the expansion of North Carolina’s nonprofit community, Nevin knows a thing or two about building strong organizations. Nevin guides our efforts to strengthen the quality of the internal systems, processes, and strategies that support our team.

Prior to joining Armstrong McGuire, he served as the Director of Embedded Operations with Communities In Schools of North Carolina. During his tenure there, he had the opportunity to work with foundations, community partners, and school districts across the state to advocate for educational excellence for all students. He served on CIS’s state and national diversity, equity, and inclusion teams and in 2021 was the recipient of the Linda Harrill Executive Leadership Award. He has a Master of Public Affairs with a focus on Nonprofit Management from Western Carolina University and has completed both the Duke Nonprofit and Executive Nonprofit Management certificates.

Nevin lives in Hillsborough with his wife, Melanie, and two daughters. He loves spending time in the outdoors.
