Katie and Jason Weeks have always enjoyed hosting parties. When they celebrate their children’s birthdays, they look forward to surrounding their kids with friends. They don’t look forward to adding dozens of new toys to their children’s collection. So, from the beginning, the Weeks decided their children’s parties would evolve around opportunities to give back.
Do you ever go through a period where you find yourself using the same words or phrases repeatedly? I’m having one of those weeks. The specific word that keeps making its way into my vocabulary is “stakeholder.” In the last few days, I have worked with clients to identify stakeholder groups, designed stakeholder surveys, analyzed stakeholder input, and shared stakeholder feedback.
I consider it an unexpected but welcome gift whenever I get to have a quiet New Year’s Eve at home.
