Jeff Hensley has over 20 years of experience building the fiscal capacity of nonprofits, educational institutions, and churches. He has served as a Chief Development Officer for a number of nonprofits throughout his career where he created and managed teams and grew annual, major, and planned giving exponentially year over year.
As a consultant, he specializes in building fundraising programs, major gift solicitation training, leadership coaching, and capacity and capital campaign assessment and management. He has served as fundraising counsel for a variety of campaigns from $1 million to $300 million. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP), and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
A proud native of North Carolina, Jeff completed his undergraduate studies at Wheaton College (IL) and his graduate studies at Yale. He lives in Cary with his wife Danielle and two kids Noah and Claire. He is active in his local church and serves on two nonprofit boards in the Triangle.
