Erica Madden describes herself as a Generalist with a capital G. She is a creative problem solver and is dedicated to facilitating the difficult conversations that really help organizations move forward. She is passionate about collaborative, empathetic communication and storytelling as a way to connect leaders, teams, and stakeholders. Erica brings an entrepreneurial lens into everything from strategic planning to community engagement because the pace of the world expects proactive change. She is “ridiculously curious” and asks a lot of questions to uncover the actual challenge that needs solved.

In 2015, Erica started bloom, a strategic consulting company focused on invigorating forward-thinking organizations by fusing strategy, creativity, and curiosity. She has helped numerous nonprofit and for-profit companies bring their visions and values to life, take strategic steps forward, engage stakeholders to help solve challenges, and design and implement solutions to big, hairy problems in their communities. Erica is also the co-founder and Chief Engagement Office for LaunchCLT, an organization catalyzing a viable, sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in the greater Charlotte region.
