I know, I know. I’m still writing 2014 on my checks, too (yes, I still write checks; who doesn’t?) So what’s this about 2016? I’m suggesting that we keep next January in mind as we begin our work this year, that’s all.
An article in The Chronicle of Philanthropy caught my eye this past week. A new study, focusing on giving by Millennial and Gen X single women who are unaffiliated with a religion give two-and-a-half times more money to charity than their older, similarly secular counterparts.
A few weeks ago, my colleague Shannon Williams wrote an interesting blog post called “The Rise and Fall of the Desk.’ In it, she observed that today’s workplace is different from that of even ten years ago.
Change is always in the air at this time of year, but I have been feeling there is much more of it as we look forward to the fall of 2014 than ever before in my life.
