Children’s Home Society of NC believes that strong families have the power to transform communities. It is this strong foundational belief that led CHS’s leadership to adopt a high growth strategic plan.
Armstrong McGuire assessed CHS’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities and conducted a functional analysis of CHS’s leadership and management teams’ role descriptions and actual work responsibilities. Based on the analysis combined with research of similar statewide agencies, we recommended adjustments to CHS’s organizational structure and team responsibilities, including the creation of two new executive level positions.
Implementing the proposed recommendations, CHS created a new top-level leadership structure with C-level accountability, realigned responsibilities and reporting relationships, and engaged Armstrong McGuire to lead searches for executive level roles.
